Heavenly Cornwall

I think we have died and gone to heaven. It is just so very beautiful and tranquil here in Cornwall. If you want to find us search for Bohortha in Cornwall on Google Earth – it is a tiny cluster of about a dozen farm houses on a finger of land not far from Lands End. We are on the South West Coast walking path that runs for 630 miles around the coast from Minehead to Poole. We won’t get to walk it all but we will at least do several sections during the next 2 weeks. Yesterday on the path we met a young couple who started it in Minehead on April 1 and should finish by the end of July – they took 5 weeks out to do strawberry picking somewhere on route.

There are 2 holiday homes in Bohortha – this is the one we aren’t at.

This is the one we are staying at – a tiny schoolhouse dating from early 1900’s. It is delightful with great views across fields to the sea.

Our local beach - 60 m from the front door and 107 steps down the cliff face!!
